I received an email from Canberra Businesspoint (by the way a fantastic FREE program for local business owners, visit www.canberrabusinesspoint.com.au to learn what they offer) regarding the Canberra Business Blitz competition.
I visited the competition website (www.canberrabusinessblitz.com.au) and had a look at the entry. Refreshingly it was nice and easy for a change. Not some huge document that would take me hours to fill in!! I took around 15 minutes, filling in the basic business information (such as name, location, number of staff, age of business etc), ran it past a few of my staff (who are excellent editors by the way) and we were on our way to being a Blitz finalist.
Part of the entry required you to write in 25 words or less why you thought your business should be considered as a finalist. Being gifted with an overabundance of word skills I quickly jotted down the following "poem":
"Help us get the secret out,
We're the best without a doubt!
Please show us how to work the room,
So Therapy Masters will Zoom!"
