Gillian Staples

 

Gilliam StaplesGillian Staples completed her massage studies at the Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) in 2008. She holds dual Diplomas in Tuina and Shiatsu as well as the Advanced Diploma in Soft Tissue Therapies. Gill specialises in remedial, sports, and relaxation massage as well as the Eastern massage disciplines of Shiatsu and Tui Na, including cupping, moxibustion and gua sha. Gill is also qualified in lymphatic drainage massage and lymph bandaging.

During 2008 Gill also completed her Level One Sports Trainer qualification and the Advanced Taping Course through Sports Medicine Australia (SMA). She also completed the Functional Fascial Taping (FFT) certificate with Melbourne based myotherapist Ron Alexander. Gill was a sports trainer and massage therapist to the Under 19s New Zealand gridiron team during their Australian tour. Gill has also recently made her writing debut with her first article on Tui Na being published in The Art of Healing magazine.

Gill is currently undertaking a business management course.

Gillian is a member of the Australian Association of Massage Therapists (AAMT).
